Not enough coffee yet to be appropriately snarky.
-1 on this change. Like the Jukebox vanishing, this is just another change that seems to suck the soul out of the game.
On top of a couple of other reasons, I have been losing my enthusiasm for even logging in recently, and have been enjoying playing Civilization V more than EVE lately. This doesn't help matters.
These radical changes to the very heart of EVE, sorry, not changes, but eliminations, are making it into a less immersive, vivid experience.
(sarcasm) Why do we need our pretty graphics ? We could still play if all we see is a marker for our ship. Who needs to see their actual ships ?
This is a bad move CCP, and just what I expected when you crawled under the covers with Sony, tbh. -áGÇ£The world is a stage, but the play is badly cast.GÇ¥-á-á - Oscar Wilde |

Ain't that a fact.
Although one doesn't 'login' to Civ, it plays some terrific music and displays various historical pictures that change when starting up.
With this change, we just sort of get drop-kicked suddenly from reality into our hangar. -áGÇ£The world is a stage, but the play is badly cast.GÇ¥-á-á - Oscar Wilde |

Actually not difficult at all.
By making it more complex, once they whip it into some semblance of where it is currently, they can then claim an 'improvement'. -áGÇ£The world is a stage, but the play is badly cast.GÇ¥-á-á - Oscar Wilde |

The unfortunate thing about this for the subscribers is that in all honesty, the login screen and music is utterly irrelevant to game play and performance.
As far as reasons for keeping it go, we don't really have any strong logical legs to stand on concerning the issue.
Same with the vanished Jukebox. -áGÇ£The world is a stage, but the play is badly cast.GÇ¥-á-á - Oscar Wilde |

Pretty much one of the most pathetic whine threads of GD. And that takes really much.
Though, i can't deny a certain amusement about all the tears...
-1 troll attempt. Try harder.
Labeling this as whining is just that, your own labeling. It means nothing. -áGÇ£The world is a stage, but the play is badly cast.GÇ¥-á-á - Oscar Wilde |

I turned off the music the 2nd week of Eve so I guess I'm missing out on that grandeur. For what its worth, I only have 3 accounts, but find the new launcher adept at launching them as the old way.
I can't really argue with this at all.
But I don't pay every single month for 4 accounts just to have CCP give me only utilitarian functionality. -áGÇ£The world is a stage, but the play is badly cast.GÇ¥-á-á - Oscar Wilde |
